Step 1: Choose Membership Type

Membership in the American Mental Health Alliance is open to licensed mental health professionals of all disciplines.
Membership benefits include practice building tools that improve your ability to market your practice in your local community through online listing of your practice at www.americanmentalhealth.com, and by extension, Google and other major search engines as well.
(Subject to periodic credentials review to ensure proper licensure in practice area).

The AMHA is supported only by member practitioners. We are proud of the community of ethical therapists that we are building.

Please Join Us!

National Membership

Includes a listing that can become the Internet home for your practice. Or, if you have your practice listed elsewhere or on a personal web site, we will show you how to link the listings or sites to suit your preference. All AMHA members receive the benefit of our community -based organization through combined marketing of ethical therapy practices across the country and in the neighboring territories.


$180.00 Annual Fee
(includes the initial credentials review and periodic re-evaluation of practice license)

  • Online listing of your practice in our Therapist Locator
  • Enhanced online web presence features including details about your practice, your focus and your areas of particular expertise.
  • The ability to publish articles online and share them with the other members of our community.
  • The ability to link to resources that you feel are useful and save time when referring your clients to them at your listing.
  • The easy ability to link to your state or other licensing agency so that clients can be directed to proof of your credentials.
  • The simple integration of your Google Places listing for customized  maps and directions to your practice address.
  • You will be offered additional opportunities to become a part of local efforts that promote professional counselors in joint publications and focused, regional web advertising.
  • Participate in our community effort to improve the quality of the mental health care in your area.
