Welcome to the Professional Community of AMHA-USA

We value client privacy.
We value direct clinical services without invasive "management" by any third party.

We support you in developing and promoting your professional practice.
Members maintain participation in AMHA-USA and the nationally advertised THERAPIST LOCATOR by paying annual dues and providing proof of license and insurance. 

Enrollment is a one- step process.

1. AMHA-USA Paperwork

To Join in California or Oregon see chapter membership pages.

After you have completed your enrollment, you will be sent a username and password to access and administer your personal web page.

AMHA-USA members receive:

  • A web page for their professional practice at www.AmericanMentalHealth.com

  • The site is nationally advertised

  • That professional web page is cross indexed at all  53 AMHA sites.

  • The AMHA-USA site is cross linked on numerous other sites.

  • Members can personally manage practice information, practice description narratives, selection of key words that bring clients to their practice and/or they can have AMHA-USA clerical support at an hourly rate.

Your nationally advertised practice listing has many features:

  • Your web page can include your professional portrait.

  • Your web page can include articles you write, handouts you post, links to other sites.

  • You can offer client resources, book and workshop promotions, articles on other sites.

  • You can have e-mail communication with inquiring potential clients, book buyers, workshop participants.

  • You can create a discussion forum.

  • Your web page can have a link to directions for finding your office.

  • Creativity in using your web page is invited, encouraged and supported.

Your AMHA-USA membership has other benefits:

  • You can post your groups, workshops, supervision and coaching availability on relevant pages at your state's site in the www.AmericanMentalHealth.com network.  Potential clients are web searching for services in every state.

  • You can publish public information articles on AMHA's state and national pages, with links to your professional page. This is a very good way to be found on the Internet.

  • You receive newsletters and e-mail bulletins about AMHA-USA activities.
